Terms of Service
Effective August 26, 2026. These terms govern use of the private Music Brain Personal MVP.
1. Service
Music Brain is an independent AI-assisted music and video library organizer. It can connect to supported third-party services using user authorization and official provider APIs to search content, read libraries/playlists, and perform user-requested playlist or library actions.
2. Private MVP status
Music Brain is currently provided for personal development and limited invited testing. It is not offered as a public commercial service, subscription product, advertising platform, or public crawler.
3. YouTube terms
Music Brain uses YouTube API Services. By using Music Brain features that access YouTube, you also agree to be bound by the YouTube Terms of Service. You should also review the Google Privacy Policy.
4. Authorization and user responsibility
- You may connect only accounts you own or are authorized to control.
- You authorize Music Brain to perform only the provider actions required for workflows you request.
- You remain responsible for reviewing important or destructive account changes before confirming them.
- You must not use Music Brain to violate applicable law, provider terms, or the rights of others.
5. No credential collection or scraping
Music Brain does not ask for or store Google/YouTube passwords. YouTube access uses Google OAuth 2.0 and the official YouTube Data API v3. Music Brain does not provide a workflow intended to bypass quotas, scrape YouTube applications, or use undocumented/reverse-engineered YouTube Music APIs.
6. Data and privacy
Use of Music Brain is subject to the Music Brain Privacy Policy, which describes the YouTube API Data and other information that may be accessed, how it is used, retention practices, revocation, and deletion requests.
7. Third-party services
YouTube, Google, Spotify, ChatGPT/OpenAI, and other connected services are operated by third parties under their own terms and policies. Music Brain does not control their availability, quotas, account decisions, data practices, or API changes.
8. Availability and changes
As a development-stage private MVP, Music Brain may change, suspend, or discontinue features while the software is being tested. No uninterrupted availability is promised.
9. No affiliation
Music Brain is not affiliated with, sponsored by, or endorsed by Google, YouTube, Spotify, or OpenAI unless explicitly stated otherwise in writing.
10. Contact
Questions about these terms can be sent through the same direct communication channel through which access to the private Music Brain MVP was provided. The primary developer contact is also supplied directly to Google in the YouTube API Services compliance submission.
